Dagestan: local resident reported his nephew's disappearance

Today Magomed Yusupov, a resident of the village of Khutrakh of Tsuntin District of Dagestan, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about disappearance of his nephew Davud Israpilov, which occurred on June 24. According to Magomed Yusupov, earlier, Davud has been repeatedly summoned for questioning in the OVD (Interior Division) of the Tsuntin District.

"On that day in the morning Davud went from the town of Shamkhal in direction of the city of Makhachkala. I called him in the evening, his phone was disconnected, which had never been earlier. I decided not to raise panic, thinking that my nephew stayed for the night at a relative's home. The next day I went to Makhachkala, visited the market, where my nephew ran a shop. It turned out that nobody had seen Davud," says Magomed Yusupov.

Then, according to Magomed Yusupov, he learned that his countryman Mukhidin Zakaryaev was the last person who talked to his nephew. "He said that Davud entered one of the minibuses, but he had never arrived at home," said Magomed Yusupov.

He does not know where his nephew could disappear; however, he draws attention to the fact that Davud faced a close attention from the law enforcement agents.

"Davud is a good Muslim. He was repeatedly summoned for questioning to the OVD (Division Interior) of Tsuntin District, although he was not involved in anything illegal, and had not been registered at the police. Last time Davud was summoned to the police 3 months ago, the investigators did not ask about anything specific, it was a general conversation," said Magomed Yusupov.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that they know nothing about the incident.
