Team captain of Dagestani “Anji” resented at the fans of “Krylia Sovietov”

After the end of a game between “Anji” and “Krylia Sovietov” on June, 22, in Samara the hosts’ fans flung a banana into the playing field. Brazilian Roberto Carlos, team captain of Dagestani “Anji”, left the playing field as a sign of protest.

The final match of the first round of the Russian championship of the country in football Premier League was going on in Samara. “Anji” from Makhachkala won with a score 3:0. During the last minutes of the game a banana was flung into the Brazilian player Roberto Carlos from the tribunes of Samara fans.

“I am indignant at this loathsome behaviour of the fan who by his scurvy trick really offended not only me but all the football players in the field, too. Not only the players, the whole Russian football, Roberto Carlos declared after the game. – I hope UEFA and FIFA will bring the right judgment on this disgusting incident”.

According to “Anji” team captain, the club will seek after the most severe penalty for those guilty. “Krylia Sovietov” football club, in its turn, presented its apologies for the incident to “Anji” team captain Roberto Carlos calling it a “disgraceful racist scurvy trick” which “overshadowed the match” and “caused deep indignation of all “Krylia Sovietov” fans”.

“Krylia Sovietov” management assure they will do their best to find and punish the rogue who offended the honorable player adored the world over and in our city, in particular”, a statement on the club’s web-site runs.
