A regular soldier Alexei Akhmitsafin, a native of the city of Nyazepetrovsk, Chelyabinsk Region, who is taking his service in Military Unit No. 386246 of Ingushetia, complains of hazing by older soldiers. According to his story, he may not survive the remaining month till his demobilization.

Akhmitsafin was drafted on July 9, 2010, and served his first four months at a training unit in Penza. Then he was sent, together with his comrades, to a military unit in Vladikavkaz. He found himself in the unit located near the village of Troitskaya, Sunzha District of Ingushetia. Here in mid-November, according to his story, he had problems with older soldiers, called up from Dagestan - they beat Akhmitsafin and stole his mobile phone and money.

The soldier told about it to his mother. The incident became known to the unit commander, after which Alexei again beaten by older and contract soldiers, who claimed extortion of a large sum of money. The incident was checked, but no criminal case was initiated.

Akhmitsafin's parents appealed for help to the human rights organization "Recruit's School" and to the military prosecutor. The unit commander decided to place Akhmitsafin to a military hospital. There, the soldier worked as a nurse boy assistant, but in May he was transferred again, this time to one of the units deployed in Vladikavkaz. Here, threats and attacks from comrades-in-arms continued.

As reported by Valeria Prikhodkina, one of the leaders of the South-Urals project "Recruit's School", on June 3 Akhmitsafin got his face cut; the attack was committed after human rights activists and the victim's mother once again complained to the military prosecutor's office about hazing by other soldiers. According to activists of the "Recruit's School", so far, there is no reaction from the military prosecutor's office, the RIA "Urals.Ru" writes.

Negotiations of Alexei's mother with the military prosecutor's office of Ingushetia have given nothing yet; there, the send her to the unit command. According to her story, commanders are also taking no real steps. Besides, as it turned out, since December 2010 - when the soldier was transferred to the medical unit he was deprived of his monthly allowance - 2100 roubles.

So far, the Chelyabinsk military prosecutor's office gave no comment on facts of hazing in the unit, while Alexander Tarasov, the military prosecutor of Ingushetia, said that currently a check is conducted of non-payment of the allowance to the soldier; however, according to his story, prosecutors know nothing about beatings and harassments, the RIA "New Region" reports.
