The court in Rostov region blocked access to Mavrodi's web-site

Taganrog city court of Rostov region granted the motion of Public prosecutor's office by blocking access to the web-site where Sergey Mavrodi's information of his new project "MMM-2011" was posted, a representative of Public prosecutor's office of the region reported on May, 25.

"MMM-2011" is a project announced at the beginning of 2011 by Sergey Mavrodi, founder of "MMM" financial pyramid victims of which 10 to 15 million people by different sources of data became at the end of last century. Participants of the new, "online" project "MMM-2011" ("We Have Great Chances") were promised profitability of 20% and 30% for retired persons. The idea was that the participants would get profit for account of the money formerly invested by other participants. 

Access to the web-site of "MMM-2011" project in Taganrog was provided by "InfoTechs Taganrog Telecom", "Beecom", "Online Telecommunication Solutions", "Simple Communication Facilities" and the "Institute of New Informational Technologies" companies. 

Public prosecutor's office referred to Taganrog city court lawsuits of blocking technical channels of the users' access to this website considering that a system of uncontrolled mobilization of the citizens' investments had all the features of a financial pyramid. 

The lawsuits of Public prosecutor's office have been granted in corpore, RIA "Novosti" reports.
