Arrest of person accused of killing football fan Sviridov in Moscow extended

Today, the Presnya Court of Moscow has extended till June 6 the arrest of Aslan Cherkesov, accused of murdering Yegor Sviridov, a fan of the "Spartak" FC at night on December 6, 2010, in Moscow, said Olga Sutyapova, the court press secretary.

"Today, the court has satisfied the investigators' petition to extend Cherkesov's custody by one month, that is, until June 6," the RAPSI (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information) quotes Ms Sutyapova as saying.
