The investigation suspects Deputy Head of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Karachay-Cherkessia of bribery

On April, 26, criminal proceedings were started against Sergey Skripka, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Karachay-Cherkessia according to clause "swindle". According to the investigation's version, the high-ranking official of the Ministry of Interior Affairs illegally received 110 thousand rubles from a woman resident of the republic. 

Investigative Department of North-Caucasian region reported today that in November, 2006, Skripka received 40 thousand rubles from a woman resident of KCR assuming a commitment to place her son-in-law in a job at the Department of Interior Affairs in the town of Cherkessk. 

The investigation states that in January, 2010, Skripka received 70 thousand rubles from the same resident of the republic promising patronage in service to her daughter who worked in Criminal militia of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in KCR. 

According to the investigation, in both cases Skripka had no intention to keep the promises he had given. 

There is no information yet on the suspect's or his defense's position on the matter.
