Strasbourg Court obligated the Russian authorities to pay off a compensation to two women residents of Chechnya

The court in Strasbourg imposed a compensation of 61 thousand euro on the authorities of Russia to pay off to the mother and wife of Khamzat Tushaev, resident of Chechnya who disappeared after being summoned for interrogation.

According to Khamzat Tushaev's mother and wife, he was summoned to Public prosecutor's office of Grozny in summer of 2006. After the man passed through the checkpoint in the office, nobody saw him any more.

According to the employees of Public prosecutor's office, he did not come for interrogation. The investigation by Russian investigative bodies was repeatedly recommenced and deferred but produced no effect as a result.

The Court in Strasbourg arrived at a conclusion that the resident of Chechnya most probably died after illegal detention by security officials, BBC TV-company reports.
