Members of “United Russia” party got over two thirds of votes in the Parliament of Dagestan

According to the information from the republican Election committee, representatives of five parties: “United Russia”, “Fair Russia”, “Patriots of Russia”, KPRF and “Pravoye Delo” (“Rightful Cause”) will be members of the People's Assembly of Dagestan.

By final data, “United Russia” has canvassed 65,21% of votes and is getting 62 seats in the People's Assembly. “Fair Russia” is in the second place – 13,68% of votes and 13 seats in the republican Parliament respectively. Next go ” “Patriots of Russia” – 8,39% and eight seats; KPRF – 7,27% and six seats and “Pravoye Delo” – 5,09% and one seat.

Today Magomed Dibirov, Chairman of Election committee, commented on the totals of the election to People's Assembly of the republic held on March, 13, for mass media. According to official data of Election committee, attendance at the election has made 84,84%.

Magomed Dibirov reported that appeals had been filed from the observers from all the parties except LDPR concerning wrong count of votes. “In connection with this, a decision on additional recount of votes in more than one hundred polling stations was taken on March, 17. Respective changes have been made to the protocols of territorial election committees. Only after that the totals were tallied up”, Head of the Election committee of the Republic of Dagestan said.

In reply to the question whether those guilty of wrong count of votes in the territorial committees would be punished Magomed Dibirov said that inspections on every episode were going on and all those guilty would be made answerable”.
