"Right Cause" Party to have mandate in Dagestani Parliament

The Party "Right Cause" will get, after vote re-tabulation, one mandate in the National Assembly of Dagestan, said the press service of the party. The Deputy from the party in the parliament will be Magomed Shabanov, head of the Regional Branch of the "Right Cause".

According to the totals published on the website of the Central Election Commission (CEC) after the elections, the "Right Cause" won 4.04 percent of votes under the passing barrier of 5 percent; however, the Regional Branch managed to achieve recalculation, and the results were amended: the final figure was already 5.09 percent.

"This is the first time we've got to the Regional Parliament under the party list," said the press secretary of the "Right Cause" Party, as quoted by the "Interfax".

The "Gazeta.Ru" writes that Magomed Shabanov is considered to be a good acquaintance of President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov.
