Brazil helps Armenia to neutralize Nubarashen landfill of toxic chemicals

Within the programme of humanitarian aid, aimed at neutralizing the Nubarashen land fill of toxic chemicals, the government of Brazil decided to transfer equipment worth over 80,000 US dollars to their Armenia counterpart as a gift.

According to the Brazilian Embassy in Yerevan, the equipment is intended for mitigating the ecological damage caused by the Nubarashen burial of pesticides.

"The equipment is a response of the government of Brazil to the request of the Armenian party to help in neutralizing the landfill of toxic chemicals," said the Embassy.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a source from the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia, the equipment is intended for the ministerial laboratory for controlling hazardous and noxious substances; and one off-road car will be also delivered.
