In Astrakhan, eviction of journalist Oleg Teplischev is postponed by 10 days

The Astrakhan journalist Oleg Teplischev will have to leave the apartment, which is his property, within 10 days. The journalist believes that his eviction is illegal - although the city officials deemed the house to be an emergency, an independent examination has not confirmed it. According to Mr Teplischev, his eviction is explained by the fact that the apartment became interesting for a high-ranking city official.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 10 Oleg Teplischev was notified that his family would be evicted from the apartment. According to the journalist, the story continues for six years already. The city officials held examination, in the absence of Oleg Teplischev, and in 2007 ruled that the house, where his apartment was located, was in emergency condition and subject to demolition. Oleg Teplischev held an independent examination for his own money; and it demonstrated that his house was not in emergency, said the journalist.

According to his story, at the moment, "thanks to the actions of the Russian State Duma Deputy Oleg Shein, he was granted a delay of 10 days." "I need to decide something within this time, because court marshals are set very aggressively," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Oleg Teplischev explained that in the evening on February 14 the court marshal Dmitry Shapovalov served him an eviction prescription. "I explained to him that a cassation complaint had been lodged on the case, and I'm waiting for its consideration," he added. According to his story, he said that he had notified the marshal that he wanted to meet his bosses and find out why the illegal actions had not been stopped."

According to Teplischev, in the morning on February 15, on prior agreement, he visited the Inter-District Division No. 2 of the Department of the Federal Service of Court Marshals (FSCM) of Russia for the Astrakhan Region and the Regional FSCM, where he left an application on illegal actions of the Service "for their top management."

"I met the court marshal on the way. I told him that I was going to communicate with his bosses and would not be at home in the near future," added the journalist. After some time, according to Teplischev, his mother called him and said that marshals were making inventory of the property in the apartment. "She said that the marshals had broken down the door, entered the flat and began registering the property," said the journalist.

The journalist and his advocate believe that the actions of court marshals go beyond the Russian legislation.

The marshal Dmitry Shapovalov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that he was acting only on the decision of the Kirov District Court of the city of Astrakhan about eviction of the Teplischev family. "We were issued a ruling that Oleg Teplischev should be evicted, and we are working," he said.
