Azerbaijani wounded and Armenian beaten in Moscow

Within a day, two natives from Transcaucasia were attacked in Russian capital. A native of Azerbaijan received a bullet in his stomach during a street conflict, while an Armenian was beaten by a group of people.

The incident with the ethnic Azeri occurred last night. He was taken to a Moscow hospital with a bullet wound. Supposedly, he was shot from a traumatic pistol, said a source from law enforcement bodies.

Ambulance doctors picked him up in Schelkovo Pass in the east of Moscow in a state of alcoholic intoxication. By now, operative agents know his name and try to clarify other personal data. The Azeri himself said that he was injured during a street quarrel. According to his version, at about one o'clock at night an unknown person shot him in the stomach and ran away.

Another incident took place in the northeast of the capital on January 11 in the evening. The Armenian, 45, was attacked by a group of unknown persons, when he was in Izumrudnaya Street. The Yerevan resident, who was temporarily living in Moscow, could reach the nearest hospital by himself, where he was diagnosed a craniocerebral trauma.

The victim told operative agents that he knew his attackers. The issue of opening a criminal case is now considered, the "Interfax" reports.
