Inquiry into 12 earlier crimes reopened in Kuschevskaya

In the village of Kuschevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, a special office for investigating grave and especially grave crimes has resumed inquiry of 12 criminal cases of past years. The Investigatory Committee under the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of Russia reports that the inquiry has already reached positive results.

Within a week, two rapes committed in 2009 and 2010 were revealed and registered; some other crimes, earlier not reported to law enforcement authorities, were also revealed.

The above special office for investigating grave and especially grave crimes was set up in connection with the tragedy in Kuschevskaya village, where 12 persons, including four children, were brutally assassinated.

As reported earlier by the "Caucasian Knot", yesterday Alexander Bastrykin, head of the ICPO, came to meet residents of Kuschevskaya. He urged them to tell about all the crimes committed in the district in the past and promised to come to the village for as long as there will be needed to solve all the crimes committed by the local criminal gang.
