An elderly man died in Chechnya after an argument with militiamen about tinting of his car

A resident of Grozny died on November, 22, from a heart attack after a quarrel with the personnel of State Traffic Safety Inspectorate who ordered the elderly man to remove the tinting from his car glasses immediately. This news came from a non-governmental organization UNO (Union of Non-governmental Organizations) of Chechen Republic.

Informational center of UNO has not reported any details of the accident. They only said that a resident of the settlement of Aldi, Zavodskoy district of Grozny, was stopped by the personnel of a State Traffic Safety Inspectorate unit at their mobile post. The militiamen demanded that the elderly man should immediately remove the tinting tape from the window glasses of his car in spite of the fact that they were not too darkened.

The driver started an argument with the officers of State Traffic Safety Inspectorate who were rather aggressive and rude and a heart attack happened to him. The sixty-year-old man died on-site before the ambulance was called.

Law enforcement bodies have produced no comments on the accident.
