Anti-terror rallies held in Ingushetia

More than 3000 persons went today to protest rallies against terrorism in four dwelling settlements in Ingushetia.

"About 2000 persons went out to rally in Nazran and about 1500 - in the city of military glory Malgobek, in Karabulak and Ordzhonikidzevskaya. The rallies were attended by mostly young people, as well as officials, parliamentarians, representatives of various human rights organizations and clergymen," said the spokesperson of the President of Ingushetia.

The rally in Nazran was attended by Ingush President Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who called people to unite against terrorism and its manifestations. "Only in the last five years in Ingushetia over 3000 persons suffered in various terror acts; 700 civilians were lost, more than 3000 children became orphans or lost one parent," said the President addressing the rally.

Every person present had a chance to express his or her opinion. All the speakers condemned terrorists' actions, which cause damage, among other persons, to innocent residents and children, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
