For 12 days sappers of Russia's MfE neutralized 67 bombs and mines in Chechnya

Specialists of the "Leader" Centre of Special-Risk Rescue Operations of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) of Russia continue de-mining agricultural lands in the Grozny District of Chechnya. Since the start of their work, they have cleared 15 hectares of mines, shells and various ordnances and neutralized 67 explosive items.

"Sappers of the 'Leader' are successfully coping with their mission in the 'Zarya" State Farm in the Grozny District," the local MfE reports.

According to the Ministry's spokesman, 38 highly-qualified specialists of the "Leader" are now in Chechnya. Within the month to come they plan to clear 40 hectares more.
