"Journey of Peace" Yekaterinburg-Grozny

A press conference devoted to the peacemaking action "Journey of Peace - 2003" and the act of charity "From Hands to Hands", which had been taken place from October 6 to November 4, 2003, was held in Moscow on November 10. "A carriage decorated with children's pictures passed from Ural to Chechnya with stops in 7 Russian towns: Yekaterinburg, Perm, Kirov, Vladimir, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, and Grozny. It carried humanitarian aid, children's articles and letters sent to the children of Chechnya as gifts by plain citizens from different Russian regions," noted the organizers in their press release.
