Georgia: refugees from Abkhazia to pass free-of-charge medical examination

An action will be held in Western Georgia of free-of-charge medical examination of refugees from Abkhazia.

"A group of 20 physicians will make general medical examination of more than a thousand forced migrants and give them the necessary medicines and humanitarian help," says the message of the press service of the alternative government of Abkhazia, which is cooperating with the authorities of Georgia.

The action will pass in parallel with the visit to region of Georgi Baramiya, chairman of the alternative government, who will hold meetings with the refugees accommodated in Western Georgia, the "Our Abkhazia" reports.

The IA "News-Georgia" adds that on August 31 Mr Baramiya will go to the Tsalendzhikh District, from where he then plans to visit also the refugees living in the Martvil and Chkhorotskuy Districts.
