In Armenia, added higher school vacancies helped to reduce corruption

This year's entrance exams to higher schools of Armenia have shown a reduced level of corruption in the sphere of education. The main reason was in increased number of vacancies for students by 6000. This was stated at a press conference by Armen Ashotyan, Minister of Science and Education of Armenia.

"The doors of higher schools should be open for everyone; and chances to receive higher education should be the utmost. Clearly, those who lacked the necessary knowledge failed at the first exam. But we've provided opportunities to receive higher education," the Minister has emphasized.

According to his story, in the near future the current examination procedure will also be revised.
