Skirmishes continue in Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line

According to the operative report of the Ministry of Defence of Nagorno-Karabakh, within the last week the Azerbaijani party broke the ceasefire regime on 97 occasions. The most intensive shelling was registered in the northern direction of the contact line.

"At night on August 3 and later during the day only in the direction of Aterk village, Martakert District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the Azerbaijani armed forces made about 750 shots from AK sub- and DShK machine guns at the positions of the Defence Army of the NKR," the statement runs.
According to the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, on August 3 the ceasefire regime in the contact line was broken by Armenian armed formations, the "Vesti.Az" reports.

According to the Azerbaijani party, at 7:30-8:00 p.m. the positions of the National Army of Azerbaijan were shelled from the unnamed heights of the Khodzhavent District from sub- and machine guns; the attack was suppressed by the response fire; there were no losses.
