Malika Evtemirova, violated in Dagestan, is persuaded to cooperation at GOVD

Employees of law enforcement bodies render no pressure on Malika Evtemirova, a resident of Dagestan, and offer her a deal in exchange for cooperation with the investigation. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told about it by Evtemirova herself.

According to her story, should she agree, Zakir Stambulov, an inspector of the Khasavyurt GOVD (Chief Interior Department), promised to close the criminal case initiated against her on the fact of armed robbery and plunder of Usman Khatsiev, serviceman of the patrol-post service.

"Zakir summoned me. He said that he could stop the case, if I name the people who had beaten and robbed Usman. I told him that I have no idea about the criminals; then, I was let home," she said.

She also told that law enforcers rendered no pressure on her.

The on duty unit of the Khasavyurt GOVD refused from any comments, saying that they possess no data.

Let us remind you that the conflict started back in 2000. According to Evtemirova, when she was 16 years old, she got acquainted with Usman Khatsiev, who fraudulently brought her to some apartment, raped her, and later, by blackmailing with photos, forced to cohabitation. In winter of 2009, Evtemirova addressed the city prosecutor's office, but her complaint was not accepted. According to her version, when Khatsiev learnt about her visit to the prosecutor's office, he invited her to his apartment allegedly "to settle the problem in amicable way," but began swearing.

"At this moment someone knocked at the door; Khatsiev asked me to open the door. I did it, and two guys rushed into the room. I used the situation, jumped out into the street, afraid of being chased, and went to Grozny. After a while Khatsiev called and said that he was beaten and robbed and that I was behind that crime. I thought he was kidding but then I learnt that a robbery criminal case was initiated against me, and the case is run by Stambulov, Khatsiev's close friend," said Evtemirova.

On July 25 she sent a cable to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev urging to protect her and her advocate Sapiyat Magomedova, a lawyer of the Bar "Omarov and Partners", who was beaten by militiamen, against the arbitrariness of local law enforcers.
