Obligations before Svetlana Schultz are fulfilled, Kamyshin Mayoralty asserts

The Mayoralty of the city of Kamyshin, Volgograd Region, reports that all the obligations of local authorities before Svetlana Schultz, who had addressed the Pope, and her family are fulfilled.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Schultz family with many children is trying for several years to move from their house, which is in the state of emergency, to some more comfortable housing. But they could not do it till now, as bureaucrats, as Svetlana Schultz asserts, respond with "run-arounds and rudeness." The situation forced her to address her open letter to the Pope Benedict XVI with a complaint against the head of city.

According to Mr Pisarev, A. B., chairman of housing and communal services and capital construction of the administration of the urban district - Kamyshin city, the resettlement of the family will take place "before the start of the heating season."

"All the 68 persons from the house No. 15 in Molodyozhnaya Street will leave their emergency hose," the official has assured.

According to his version, all the tenants, who want it, "any moment" may move for temporary residence to rather comfortable rooms of Hotel "Opava".

In his story the official referred to Federal Law No. 185-FZ of July 21, according to which tenants from emergency houses shall be resettled with preservation of the area they occupied earlier in square meters.

Photo by http://v1.ruMayoralty bureaucrats said that the city administration had twice offered (on January 26, 2010, and on June 6, 2010) Svetlana Schultz, a mother with many children, to move from her emergency habitation. She was offered greater floor area, but "every time she refused."

"Today her family with 8 children, the senior child is 13 years and the younger one is a couple of months old. Nobody lives at the second address, and citizen Schultz, if she wants, may move and accommodate there any minute," said an employee of the PR and mass media division of the Kamyshin administration.

"They offered me the premise of the former sewing workshop (71 square meters for two families) and the room of a former dryer from with a laundry. It's no habitation," Ms Schultz is outraged.

"Yes, they made repairs there rather quickly," the woman admitted. "But I'm not going fighting fungi and dampness any more. I want to live in normal conditions."

Svetlana Schultz said that she delivered her letter to the Pope through her relatives who live in Italy. She expects to have an answer not earlier than in a month.

"This was my act of despair," Svetlana said at the end of conversation.

Let us remind you that in her letter Svetlana Schultz stated that "she would commit a mortal sin - self-burning - if she fails to reach the Pope with her cry."
