All-Armenian forum of writers to take place in Yerevan

The Ministry on Diaspora Matters is organizing, together with the Union of Writers of Armenia, from June 28 to July 2 in Yerevan the 5th Forum of Writers under the motto "Armenian Literature Is Armenian Fortress". The forum is held within the festival "One Nation - One Culture" and will bring together about 100 writers from 20 countries.

"We bring together writers under one roof already for the fifth time with the aim to discuss public, political and ethnic issues," said Levon Ananyan, chairman of the Union of Writers of Armenia.

Participation of young writers is a specific feature of this year's forum. Their best works will be published, the "News-Armenia" reports.

The forum will attempt to generalize the literature processes of the last two years, draw parallels between literature processes in different countries and consider the Armenian literature in a context of the aforesaid, the "Aysor.am" reports.
