In Irkutsk, three natives of Ingushetia are accused of kidnapping
The Investigatory Department (ID) of the ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office) of Russia for the Irkutsk Region has indicted three natives of Ingushetia of kidnapping. Two of the detainees had earlier worked in the MIA bodies of Ingushetia and Chechnya.
According to the ID, on May 31, 2010, in one of Irkutsk streets the defendants forced a local resident aged 31 into a car and took him away to some unknown place, demanding to return the debt of about 4000 US dollars. The car was stopped by militiamen, and the victim was set free.
In Irkutsk, the defendants had served their terms in one of corrective colonies; and after release they decided to stay in Siberia. Now two of them are in custody, and the third one was released under recognizance not to leave, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
