Parents of suspected killer of Dagestan MIA head: Rezanov has alibi

The parents of Lieutenant Andrei Rezanov, serviceman of the 33rd Separate Mountain Motor-Rifle Brigade of the Ministry of Defence, accused of murdering the head of the MIA of Dagestan Adilgerei Magomedtagirov, state that their son has alibi.

Rezanov's relatives have addressed the General Prosecutor's Office, ICPO and human rights activists: they assert that at the moment of the murder Rezanov was not in Dagestan at all: he was in his homeland - in the city of Penza.

In the opinion of the relatives, Rezanov's confession of the murder was illegally received from him, the "Kommersant" writes.

The ICPO stated that all the versions and evidences of the parties would be carefully checked in the course of inquiry, as the "Gazeta.Ru" notes.
