Moscow City Court refused to release figurant of "Neva-Express" explosion case

The Moscow City Court has found lawful the extension till November 28 of the custody of Timur Kartoev, accused of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train in November 2009, having upheld the decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow.

Let us remind you that on April 29 the Basmanny Court of Moscow extended till November the custody of figurants of the case about blowing up in 2009 of the "Neva-Express" train, having satisfied the petition of the investigation.

The consideration of the complaint took place in the absence of the defendant, whose advocate Vadim Rodin refused to make comments for the press referring to the subscription about nondisclosure of state secrets that he gave.

According to the judge of the Moscow City Court, "the materials presented by the investigation on the case have special complexity," the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.

Earlier, when answering the question whether the figurants of the case had admitted their guilt, in particular, Mr Rodin's client Timur Kartoev, the advocate said: "So far, we know nothing for one simple reason that inspectors give no materials to us. We're in ignorance. Only at the end of investigation we hope to know everything," the "Interfax" reports.
