Cafe blown up in Khasavyurt

An unidentified explosive device was triggered in one of the cafes in the Dagestan city of Khasavyurt, the GOVD (City Interior Division) has reported.

"The explosion was triggered at 11:20 Moscow time on Monday, May 31. According to preliminary data, a grenade was thrown into the premise. As established, none of the visitors or personnel has suffered," said a GOVD source.

The "Interfax-South" reports, with reference to the source, that now the place of the incident is studied by an operative-investigatory group. The "Newsru.com" adds that the circumstances of the explosion are established.

It is the second incident within 24 hours that happened in a cafe in this district of Dagestan. At night on May 31, in the Khasavyurt District, the cafe "Atashka", located in the Khasavyurt-Babayurt Highway, was shelled; as a result, a local resident was killed, and another one was hospitalized with heavy wounds.
