Hacker who threatened Kadyrov is in SIZO in Grozny

A hacker Albert Saaev, condemned to two years of imprisonment for hacking governmental websites of North-Caucasian republics, is now in SIZO (pre-trial prison) in Grozny; within the next few days a new charge will be presented to him, as reported by the spokesman of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya.

The "Gazeta.Ru" reports that against Albert Saaev, who placed in September 2009 murder threats addressed to President of Chechnya in the official website of the republic, a criminal case was opened under the article of "use of violence against an official."

Activists of Chechen NGOs believe that delivery of Albert Saaev to the official Grozny for conducting some "investigatory actions" is illegal and has no sense from the legal point of view.

Shakhri, Albert's wife, said that she learnt about her husband's transfer to Grozny from the Internet. "My husband looked like a person who was under a very strong pressure," the Forum.msk.ru quotes Shakhri Saaeva; she believes: "My husband was brought to Chechnya for torture; or, probably, to kill. Now his life is under threat!"
