Doctors reject rumours that passengers were squeezed to death by the crowd

The workers of the morgue No. 2, where 14 out of 39 casualties of the yesterday's terror acts in Moscow were brought, assert that none of them has characteristic traumas which could evidence that he or she was squeezed or trampled underfoot by the crowd.

"Mainly, people have received fragmental wounds, internal organ and extremity breaks and blast wave," the NEWSru.com quotes a morgue worker as saying.

Thus, he confirmed the information promulgated by the press service of Moscow metro that none of the passengers was injured in the mess, although because transfers and changeovers at the "Red Line" were blocked, huge crowds of passengers accumulated in certain stations.

Yesterday, several blogosphere users reported about death of a woman in a hustle at Park Kultury station; it was also reported by one of "Echo Moskvy" Radio listeners.

Let us note here that psychologists work with those casualties' relatives who had already visited the morgue for identification.
