Four persons detained in South Ossetia-Georgia border
The Frontier Department of the FSB in South Ossetia has stated detention by Russian frontier guards of four infringers of South-Ossetian frontier.
"On March 20, in the vicinity of Kaleti village, Znaur District of South Ossetia, a citizen of South Ossetia and a woman-citizen of Georgia were detained at an attempt to cross the border from South Ossetia to Georgia," said the spokesman of the press service of the FSB in South Ossetia.
According to his story, two more border infringers were detained today near Tsinagar village, Leningor District of the republic at an attempt to cross the border from Georgia to South Ossetia, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
"The detainees had no documents to confirm their personalities. According to their words, they are citizens of Georgia," the press service of the FSB reports.
The detainees were transferred to the frontier service of the KGB of South Ossetia. The investigation is on, and the circumstances of their offences are clarified, the ITAR-TASS reports.
