Another case opened against advocate in "Neva-Express" case

The Investigatory Department for the Novgorod Region of the ICPO has initiated the second criminal case against Magomed Razakov, a lawyer of the Moscow Bar, who defended a figurant accused of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train. This time the case was opened on the article of "Contempt of the court".

As reported in the statement of the press service of the Department, on June 24, during consideration of the criminal case on charging Razakov and Salanbek Dzakhkiev of an attempt to bribe an official, in the course of interrogating a witness and listening to audio records, Razakov insulted the witness.

"He wilfully, because of hostile feelings, caused by the evidences, with the aim to humiliate the honour and dignity of the witness, publicly in the indecent form orally offended the witness by obscene," the "Interfax" quotes the statement.

The "Echo Moskvy" Radio adds that after the court had made a decision to remove Razakov out of the courtroom, he continued his numerous public insults in the indecent form by using obscene words.
