Inspectors find new data on massacre in Baku Oil Academy

Tonight, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Azerbaijan have made a joint statement on the course of investigation into the massacre committed in the Azerbaijani State Oil Academy (ASOA) on April 30. They now clear out involvement of certain Sergey Grigoryan in this crime.

"In the course of investigation, witnesses were interrogations who went with Farda Gadirov in a bus from Georgia to Baku, and residents of the house in Baku, where he lived. Analysis was also made of telephone conversations among the persons suspected of participation in the crime, and searches were made in their houses," says, in particular, the joint statement of the MIA and the State Office of Public Prosecutor that arrived to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Members of the investigatory group were sent to Georgia and Russia, since the criminal Farda Gadirov for some time lived there.

During a search in Gadirov's house in Dashtepe village, Marneul District of Georgia, a cheque was found confirming his purchase, on October 24, 2008, of a pistol in the firearm shop in Tbilisi, and 14 cartridges, boxes for cartridges, disposable gloves, and his three photos with weapons in hands.

Videocassettes also were found in the house and a note saying: "Look at the phone photo camera, and you'll see who I am." The phone video camera fixed Gadirov in a wolf mask saying: "For me there is no love, only hatred. I'll come to Baku and I kill everyone I meet on the way; I'll not surrender to the police, but I'll get pleasure from the murder." Gadirov shooting from the pistol was also videoed there.

With the help of law enforcement bodies of Georgia, it was established that, having returned from Russia in October 2008, Farda Gadirov kept telephone communication with Sergey Grigoryan, a citizen of Georgia and Armenian national, who pretended to be a Georgian. It was established that acting together with Gadirov they bought a pistol for 500 laris and 100 cartridges for 200 laris. Now, Azerbaijani law enforcers try to clear out Grigoryan's involvement in this crime and legality of firearm purchase, as the statement further reports.

Since relatives refused from Farda Gadirov, he was buried as a homeless person.
