UNHCR Office made protest to Russian Interior Ministry against ban on easy visits of refugee camps in Ingushetia

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees made a protest to the Russian Interior Ministry against the ban on the visits of refugee camps in Ingushetia.

On September 18 the police did not let representatives of humanitarian organizations in the Bella camp explaining it with toughening of security measures after the terrorist act in Magas.

According to the words of human rights activists, one must obtain authorization to visit refugee camps in Ingushetia now, and this noticeably complicates the rendering of help to the Chechen living there.
