Defence of convicted Rostov blogger Sergey Reznik files complaint against verdict

The defence of Sergey Reznik, a convicted blogger and journalist from Rostov-on-Don, has filed a brief appeal against the verdict pronounced in his case. This was reported by advocate Elena Dragunova. The conditions of detention of the journalist and observation of his rights in penitentiary institutions were taken under systematic monitoring.

NAC: persons killed near Makhachkala preliminarily identified as members of the local militants' grouping

Today is four years after explosion of "Neva-Express" Train

Four years ago, on November 27, 2009, near the village of Lykoshino, a crashed of the high-speed "Neva-Express" Train en route from Moscow to Saint Petersburg took place, killing 28 people and injuring over 130 others. According to investigators, the crash was a result of a terror act, prepared and committed by ten residents of the Ingush village of Ekazhevo, who were later charged and convicted.
