Residents of Dagestan report no restrictions in CTO area

The villages of the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan do not face the effect of the introduction of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, and all the social facilities are operating as usual. This was reported by local residents interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, at 4:00 a.m., the CTO regime was introduced within the administrative borders of the Karabudakhkent District. The special operation is connected with the search for the killers of Migitin Djavadov, the head of the village of Karamakhi of the Buynaksk District, whose body was found in a wooded area in the Karabudakhkent District on October 1.

Residents of Karabudakhkent face no restrictions imposed as a result of the CTO regime. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by an official of the administration of the Karabudakhkent District.

"There are no signs of the CTO. The situation in the village is quiet, and we meet no military men and see no helicopters in the sky," the official has said.

In the village of Gurbuki, all social facilities operate as usual, including the local village school, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by one of its teachers.

Patimat, a resident of the village of Dorgeli, was absolutely not aware of the introduction of the CTO regime. According to the woman, no one in the village ever discussed that fact.
