The Supreme Court (SC) of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) has overturned the verdict of the Cherkessk City Court that found Ruslan Rakhaev, the ex-Deputy Chief of Police of Cherkessk, guilty of beating to death the administrative detainee Dakhir Djankezov and sent the case to the Prosecutor's Office.

Jamil Gasanli made his statement about the voting around 11:20 a.m. Baku time, after he has voted at the 6th polling station of the 17th Third Yasamal Constituency. He pointed to violations that accompanied, according to his version, the election process.

The Tsentralny District Court of Sochi has ruled to deport Vladimir Dolidze, a person with the passport of a citizen of the USSR, who needs specialized medical care, to Georgia. The consideration of the appeal was held without defence; and the ruling contains factual errors, said Alexander Popkov, Dolidze's advocate.
