Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of wounding two children
A 13-year-old boy was wounded as a result of shelling the village of Myulkyulyu located in the Tovuz District. A 10-year-old boy was wounded in the village of Kokhne Gishlag of the Agstafa District, Azerbaijani sources reported on August 6.

In Tbilisi, 50 people attend solidarity action with Iraqi Yazidis
The capital of Georgia hosted an action of condemnation of mass persecution and oppression of Yazidis in the Sinjar District in northern Iraq. Grozny officials check legality of people's residence in former TACs

Two men killed in shootout in Makhachkala

New charge presented to former Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili
Today, the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) of Georgia has announced a new charge against the former President Mikhail Saakashvili – of beating the MP Valery Gelashvili in 2005. Investigators have found that the reason for beating Gelashvili up was his interview that he gave in June 2005 to the newspaper "Resonansi", in which Gelashvili expressed his dissatisfaction with the then president and insulted Saakashvili in relation to his personal life, including his wife.

Two power agents wounded in CTO in KBR, law enforcers report (+video)
As part of a counterterrorist operation (CTO) conducted in the village of Lechinkay, Chegem District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), law enforcers blocked a house, where, according to power agents, members of the armed underground could be hiding.
