IED found in area affected by CTO legal regime in Ingushetia

An improvised explosive device (IED) of power of about 10 kg of TNT equivalent was found in a car. According to the preliminary information of the law enforcement bodies, the car belonged to members of the armed underground, killed in a special operation.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that law enforcers carried out a large-scale special operation in several villages of the Nazran District and in the town of Karabulak. In the course of the special operation, a base of militants was discovered, three men were killed, two of whom were identified as Aslan Dyshnoev and Magomed Pliev, and four others were detained, the law enforcement bodies report.

"An IED was detected in a VAZ-2114 car found during the search operation. The IED consisted of a bucket filled with explosives, and it was ready for detonation," the "Interfax" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia as reporting.

According to the source, the measures are taken to destroy the IED at the place, since it is impossible to transport it.
