Residents of Gimry report on detention of three villagers
Three residents of the village of Gimry of the Untsukul District of Dagestan were detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting members of the armed underground, and their houses were searched. This was reported by local residents. Officials from the Untsukul ROVD (District Interior Division) have confirmed the information on the detention of three persons.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 10, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in the village of Gimry. After the special operation, it was reported on the killings of three suspected militants and one FSB fighter. On October 12, the CTO legal regime was cancelled.
On October 10, law enforcers detained Patakh Arumagomedov, Gusein Shikhamirov, and Gairbek Khapizov, suspected of aiding and abetting militants. This was reported by a resident of Gimry. The villager has not ruled out the possibility that the detainees may be subjected to pressure.
According to Zarema R., a resident of Gimry, the houses of the detainees were searched, and ammunitions were found. According to the local woman, the suspected militants, killed in the course of the special operation, were put on the wanted list.
In general, the situation in the Untsukul District is quiet. This was reported on October 12 by a resident of the Untsukul District, who introduced himself as Magomedrasul.
