Instagram blocks Ramzan Kadyrov's account because of sanctions

The Instagram account used by Ramzan Kadyrov was deleted in connection with the fact that the leader of Chechnya was included in the US sanctions list, reports the spokesperson for the Instagram owner. In addition to the Ramzan Kadyrov's unofficial account, Instagram pages of his associates are also unavailable.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the official accounts of Ramzan Kadyrov in Facebook and Instagram were blocked in December 2017. After the blocking, messages on behalf of the Chechen leader were posted on Instagram account za_kadyrov_95. According to Djambulat Umarov, Chechen Minister of National Policy, the above account is not a personal or official account of Ramzan Kadyrov.

The access to the Instagram account za_kadyrov_95 has been terminated. The Instagram accounts of Magomed Daudov, the chairman of the Chechen Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister Abuzaid Vismuradov, and State Duma member Adam Delimkhanov are also unavailable.

The Ramzan Kadyrov's Instagram account was deleted in connection of sanctions against him, explained the spokesperson for Facebook, an owner of the social network.
