The investigating authorities have completed the investigation initiated against four members of the community "Combat Organization of Russian Nationalists". According to investigators, the organization was involved in crimes motivated by ideological and ethnic hatred, in particular, in the murders of the resident of Dagestan Muslim Abdullaev and the lawyer Stanislav Markelov.

In Makhachkala, Gasan Gadjiev, a local resident, has been detained. About a month ago, he started to cooperate with the "Caucasian Knot" as a correspondent. Prior to Gasan Gadjiev was brought to the Centre for Combating Extremism (CCE) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan, his apartment was searched. In Moscow, investigators have filed a murder charge against a native of Dagestan suspected of killing a woman in Yuzhnoe Butovo District. Her body with cut-off limbs was found on November 23. This was reported by a source from the Moscow law enforcement agencies.

In Dagestan, the City Court of Buynaksk arrested for two months Arsen Aliev, who was detained on suspicion of illegal possession of weapon. This was reported by Nurmagomed Magomedov, the detainee's advocate. Arsen Aliev's relatives claim that the weapon was planted during a search.

All persons, who were killed in the antiterrorist operation conducted in the village of Zhankhoteko, have been identified. They were members of the "Baksan" grouping. During the armed clash, two special fighters were wounded. This was reported by the law enforcement bodies of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The Nasimi District Court of Baku has sentenced Gurban Mamedov, an Azerbaijani lawyer, to three years of imprisonment for committing a road traffic accident that resulted in injury and for bribing the victim. The defence of Gurban Mamedov intends to challenge the verdict.
