Rustam Ibragimov, a detained Dagestani resident, suspected of robbery

Detained Rustam Ibragimov was interrogated in the Lenin ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala as a suspect being involved in a robbery. This was reported by his defender Elena Denisenko.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that, according to his mother Burliyat Ibragimova, in the morning of December 6, her son Rustam was detained by policemen after they searched their house. He was brought to the Lenin ROVD of Makhachkala.

Elena Denisenko has noted that, according to investigator Shakhban Omarov, Rustam Ibragimov was recognized by some witnesses. "Shakhban Omarov refused to allow me looking through their testimonies. He said he was not entitled to do that. Meanwhile, it is still not clear, of what kind of a crime the detainee is suspected," Elena Denisenko has said.

The advocate has also reported that she was admitted to visit Rustam Ibragimov. Earlier, she and members of the Public Monitoring Commission stated that they were not given the chance to visit the detainee.
