This morning representatives of law enforcement bodies carried out search in the house of one of the persons involved in the criminal case of blasting "Nevsky Express" in Autumn of 2009 in the settlement of Ekazhevo, Nazran district of Ingushetia. The owners of the house consider the search unlawful because their exact data was not specified in the order.

Ekaterina Azarashvili, Press-speaker of Central Election Committee of Georgia, made a statement about pressure from supporters of "Bidzina Ivanishvili - Georgian Dream" electoral bloc on members of the district electoral committees for the purpose of getting the desired results of voting. At the elections to the Supreme Council of Adzharia, the coalition "Bidzina Ivanishvili-Georgian Dream" gained 48.5 percents of the votes, and the "United National Movement" Party gained 44.8 percent of votes under the proportional system. This was reported by the Election Commission of the Adzharian Autonomous Republic.

On October, 2, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) announced its verdict on the claim of Azerbaijani journalist Ramiz Najafli. Acknowledging violations of Najafli's rights secured by clauses 3 and 10 of European Convention on Human Rights (prohibition of inhuman or degrading treatment, freedom of expression) the Court obliged the Government of Azerbaijan to pay the journalist a compensation to a total sun of 13 thousand euros.
