The Elbrus District Court of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) has sentenced a local resident Ali Djappuev to 3.5 years in a general security colony. Djappuev was accused of aiding the members of the "Baksan" criminal grouping, as well as of illegal trafficking in firearms and drugs.
