Soldiers wounded in an explosion in Chechnya were hospitalized to the military hospital in Grozny. Some of them are in grave condition. This was reported by law enforcement bodies of the republic.

The health condition of the hunger-striker Suleiman Edigov, a Chechen resident, accused of an attempt on the life of a law enforcer and arms trafficking, does not allow him to participate in court sessions, the prosecution asserts. The court has decided to hold a full medical examination of Edigov and present the results by April 7.

The Chechnya's Prosecutor's Office has cancelled the investigators' decision to suspend the criminal case about the kidnapping in February 2003 of two locals – brothers Aslan and Valid Djabrailov. Four years ago, the ECtHR fined Russia in response to the complaint lodged by Valid Djabrailov's relatives.
