The Lenin District Court of Grozny has partially satisfied the claim lodged by Ruman Kosumova, a resident of the village of Kharachoi, Vedeno District of Chechnya, on compensation for her moral sufferings caused to her by actions of prosecutors from the Vedeno District and Shali Inter-District Investigatory Division of the Investigatory Department for Chechnya of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

In Astrakhan, court fines journalist for critical article about city mayor
On May 16, the Sovietskiy District Court of Astrakhan put a full stop in considering the lawsuit filed by the Mayor of Astrakhan Sergey Bozhenov on protection of their honour and dignity and compensation of his moral harm against the newspaper named "Revival of the State". On May 15, in Makhachkala, the Dagestani veterans of the Afghan warfare held a rally dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the start of withdrawal of troop from Afghanistan.
