Suspected militants, blocked in Khasavyurt, persuaded to surrender by their relatives

One of the men, who surrendered during the special operation in Khasavyurt, was put on the wanted list on suspicion of robbery, and another one was put on the list of missing persons. The third surrendered man, the owner of the blocked house and the son of the deputy head of Khasavyurt, is, according to power agents, an accomplice of the militants, not put on the wanted list. The negotiations with the suspected militants involved their relatives.

On August 7, fighters of Special Forces blocked a private house ownership in Khasavyurt, where, according to the preliminary information, four suspected militants had taken refuge. As a result of negotiations with the power agents, three of them surrendered, and one of them refused to surrender and was killed.

According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), Iskhak Djamaldinov, born in 1981, who since 2010 acted as an accomplice to the "Khasavyurt grouping", Imran Khamidov, born in 1990, who in June 2012 went underground, and Rustam Khamanaev, born in 1986, surrendered to the power agents, the "Kommersant" reports.

According to investigators, to whom the edition refers, Iskhak Djamaldinov, the son of the deputy head of Khasavyurt, sheltered and rendered medical treatment at his house to Ibragim Mukhuchev, a leader of the militant grouping, who was wounded during the special operation near the village of Toturbiikala (later, in September 2011, Ibragim Mukhuchev was killed during the special operation in Khasavyurt).

According to a reader of the "Caucasian Knot", all three men, who came out of the blocked house, had already been conditionally sentenced and had been brought to the police stations for aiding militants.

"I bet he would be released, since his Dad is not in vain the deputy head and the member of the antiterrorist commission," a reader under the nickname Cobalt writes in his comments under the news about the special operation.

According to another reader under the nickname leon1980, the mother of Djamaldinov is the head of the centre of social care of population. "So, that's where all it (help) goes," the reader writes.
