In Azerbaijan, users of the Facebook have appointed an action for December 28 in connection with the attempted self-immolation of Zaur Gasanov, a Category II invalid and veteran of the Karabakh War. The action under the slogan "Stop burning down veterans!" is planned in Fountain Square in downtown of Baku. Gasanov is in critical condition, doctors say.

On December 25, the 42-year-old Zaur Gasanov, a Category II invalid of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and a father of five children, committed self-immolation in central Baku opposite the building of the Azerbaijani Trade Unions Confederation.
