RBC: Dadaev's traces found in the car of Nemtsov's killers

During the molecular-genetic examination, experts found biologic traces of Zaur Dadaev in the ZAZ Chance car, in which killers of Boris Nemtsov escaped from the crime scene. The RBC reports about it citing its sources familiar with the course of investigation.

Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on February 27 in Moscow. In connection with the crime, five natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia were detained, namely: Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov and Shagid Gubashev.

According to Dadaev's initial testimonies, which later were rejected by him, the ZAZ Chance car was provided to him by a native of Chechnya named Rusik, who himself drove a Mercedes ML car with the number plate of 007. In his turn, the defendant Eskerkhanov indicated in his testimonies that the above Mercedes ML No. 007 belonged to Ruslan Geremeev, the former officer of the battalion "Sever" (North) of the Interior Troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). In May, the "Kommersant" reported that the Mercedes ML No. 007 car was used by a resident of Chechnya named Ruslan Mukhadinov. Mukhadinov and Geremeev are wanted.

According to two sources familiar with the course of the inquiry into Nemtsov's murder, the ZAZ Chance car was used, apart from Dadaev, by Anzor Gubashev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, also figurants in the case. No traces of two other defendants, Shadid Gubashev and Khamzat Bakhaev, were found in the car.
