Chechnya: detainees’ relatives have no information about them for over a month
Relatives of the young people, detained in January in the Kurchaloi and Shali Districts of Chechnya, state that they have no information about their whereabouts and fate. The police refused to specify the number of detainees and stated the ongoing investigation.

ECtHR starts communication on complaints of Azerbaijani activists
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has started its communication with the Azerbaijani government on two sets of cases involving complaints about violations of the freedom of assembly and refusal to register NGOs. Defendants accused of plotting terror act in Rostov-on-Don refuse to plead guilty
Today, the North-Caucasian District Military Court has begun considering the case on the preparation of a terror act in central Rostov-on-Don. The defendants – Maxim Smyshlyaev, a resident of Rostov-on-Don, and Arthur Panov, a citizen of Ukraine, refused to plead guilty. Court finds Caucasian natives guilty of plotting terror act in Moscow
